The Women's Drop-in Center
The Center offers a wide variety of services designed to meet the needs of the target population. The center operates under a harm reduction model in hopes to plant a seed of change. Through word of mouth, outreach activities and referrals, women access services at the drop-in center. The center offers a variety of services for members; computer access, shower, clothing, medication adherence, case management, individual counseling, advocacy, peer-support, snacks, Reiki Therapy, referrals, HIV counseling and testing. The women's drop-in center hosts a multitude of groups/workshops: Safety Counts, SISTA, Women's Voices Women's Lives: Erotic Safer Sex, HIV/AIDS education, relapse prevention, female vibing, anger and stress management.
