Executive Director
Malkia Kendricks, MSW brings over twenty years experience within the counseling, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and mental health assessment fields. Since 1992 Malkia has worked in various capacities Co-Director, Program Coordinator, and Clinical Director. Prior to working with WCAC, Inc, Malkia worked with the American Red Cross as an HIV/AIDS coordinator where she supervised, trained, and managed volunteer HIV/AIDS education counselors and trainers across the commonwealth of Massachusetts. As the Executive Director and one of the co-founders of WCAC, Inc, Malkia is an innovative and visionary leader who has forged links with various organizations with comparable missions so that she can continue to provide the imperative services to women of color at high risk for HIV infection in the Dorchester and Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston. Additionally Malkia is responsible for the organizations consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. She is a certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Red Cross HIV Instructor/Trainer, A Communistic Instructor/Trainer and an HIV/AIDS Educator. Malkia earned her Bachelors Degree from Springfield College and holds a Masters Degree in Social work. In addition to the plethora of awards that Malkia has received, she also received the Belynda Dunn courage award (Baynard Rustin), Simmons College Deans Leadership award, and the Community Service Award from AIDS Action Committee.

Program Director
Yolani Dolmo oversees all of the WCAC programs. In addition, she can be found providing risk reduction group and individual counseling, education, and support for clients of all ethnicities. She has worked extensively with women of color in prisons, clinics, shelters, and domestic violence programs. Yolani uses her Spanish language skills and her Latina cultural roots to build trust with Latina clients at WCAC and to reach out to the Latino community on behalf of WCAC. She has certificates in medical assistance, substance abuse counseling, family planning counseling, HIV pre-and post-test counseling, and counseling for men who batter. Formerly the Health Educator/Counselor at WCAC, Yolani was promoted to the position of Program Director in November of 2001 and Deputy Director in April 2007. She joined WCAC in December of 1998. She is a graduate of the Boston Business School and currently pursing her BA at Lesley University.

Receptionist
Millicent Dreher better known as Millie is the newest member of the WCAC team. She assists the administrative staff in photo copying, ordering supplies, distributing mail, metering, messages and phone support. Additionally, Millie assists in the preparation of outreach materials and food for the Outreach team. She was introduced to WCAC when she joined the SISTA workshop and was impressed with the services provided at the women's drop-in center, shortly after Millie volunteered her services at WCAC. In June Millie joined our team as a part-time staff member.

Drop-in Center Coordinator
Dee Evan Sanchez is a graduate of the WCAC, Inc. Peer Education Program. She began her career at WCAC, Inc as a Peer Advocate and was soon promoted to Drop-in Center receptionist. Dee has grown tremendously and is currently the Drop-in Center Coordinator, she develops and implements groups, workshops, and all other Drop-In center activities. She records numbers of interactions and documents all Drop-In Center activities. Dee is a skilled outreach educator and certified SISTA Group Facilitator. As a former peer advocate; Dee is currently a part of the Case Management team, she supervises all Drop-In Center support team members. Dee is a hard worker who strives to do the very best for the clients/members and staff. Dee believes strongly in women empowerment and is an excellent example of strength, perseverance and courage to her peers.

Outreach Coordinator
Lavonne Jackson is an experienced outreach educator who has worked with Safe Place, and the AHope team. Her past experience with outreach intervention, prevention and education makes her a unique outreach educator in serving the target population. Lavonne has community and individual connections within the target population area that has increased outreach capacity. The outreach team have the important job of re-linking and establishing contacts with new women to increase accessibility to drop-in center services.

Peer Outreach Educator
Norann Riley is an intricate part of the outreach team as the Outreach Educator she motivates and inspires its members. Norann prefers to be called Ann she has been part of WCAC since 1999 when the agency moved to the Blue Hill Avenue area. Ann has recently joined the Outreach team and has brought her unique skills, engaging and enlisting new members to the women's drop-in center. She not only reaches women through outreach services but also volunteers her time within the drop-in center to support drop-in center staff.
